שלום לכם. אני חייב לתת רקע. יש לי מחשב ישן, יש לי מחשב חדש, ויש לי מחשב של אחותי. במחשב הישן אני רוצה לשים לינוקס.. במחשב החדש אני רוצה להישאר עם ווינדוס כי אין לי מקום ללינוקס. במחשב של אחותי אני לא נוגע יותר מידי כי אני עלול למות.
יש סיכוי לעשות רשת [בלי ראוטר..אין לי] עם 3 מחשבים שאחת מהם הוא לינוקס? מחשב בעל המודם הוא המחשב החדש שלי.
ו..יש בכלל אפשרות לחבר ברשת מחשב לינוקס עם מחשב ווינדוס?

אממ..זה מה שאני רוצה לשאול. אז בלי ראוטר בלתי אפשרי? בוא נאמר עם ראוטר.. זה אפשרי לשלב 2 מערכות הפעלה שונות ברשת אחת?

welp welp, lemme rearrange this a bit...
1. Yes, it is possible to network 3 computers. You do not need a router to connect 3 computers in a network. With the current network adapters and cables you use, it is better if you take a small HUB or a Switch. (Switch prefered). 2. The router is used to connect 2 different networks, in your case, your house and your Internet. If you cannot afford a router (or what they sell for home use: router+switch), you can buy a small switch/HUB and connect the network using ICS - Internet Connection Sharing. Or you can use masquerade/NAT options in linux. Depends which box is the gateway. 3. Samba, (next time please google, but Im in a good mood)is a network application, open source, used for sharing files and printers in a SMB/CIFS protocol based network. (usually microsoft). So you can share files on your linux box with a Microsoft one. 4. No, there’s absolutely no problem networking different operating systems, it even has a name: Heterogenic Environment :)
