עכשיו לנושא,
לפני מספר חודשים נתקלתי בהפצה נחמדה בשם DSL - ראשי תיבות של Damn Small Linux,
ובהתאם לשם, כך היא,
סה"כ נפח ההפצה(לאחר הצריבה לתקליטור) הוא: 49.93 מגה,
ההפצה בנוייה על בסיס Live( הרצה ישירה מהתקליטור, ללא צורך בכונן-קשיח - אם כי האפשרות קיימת. ),
בפעם הראשונה שהורדתי&עבדתי עם ההפצה הנ"ל היו חסרים המון דברים - ובאגים מפה עד אינסוף,
אך לאחרונה יצא לי לנסות את הגירסאה האחרונה שלהם,

בשונה ממספר הפצות "live" אחרות,
לא רק שההפצה עובדת באופן סביר+ עם מעט זיכרון(64-128 - נבדק על-ידי.),
אלא גם לא תופסת הרבה מקום, וגם המשתמש המתחיל ימצא אותה נוחה לשימוש(כוללת קצת מכל דבר, ללא שום "מתנות" מיותרות שתופסות מקום, ומבלבלות את השכל{"לסמן? לא לסמן?"} )

- ההפצה הנ"ל יכול להיות שימושית במקרה ואתה בא לבצפר,
ונתקע עם windows 98 שרץ בצורה "פצצתית",
אז פשוט שולף את הדיסק מהתיק, מכניס, ועובד כמו בבית :).
